Our project is a catalogue of an open-ended enquiry into how key material objects have shaped the history of Malaysia. It adopts an open-access blog format, and is tentatively titled O for Other. Through a series of writings contributed by scholars, students, amateur historians and the wider public, we investigate forgotten and understudied objects that can provide key lenses through which we study contemporary Malaysian history.
